On Thursday 29th September, 4 children from Oaks represented the school at the Internet Safety Roadshow, organised by the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain, at Crewe Alexandra football club.
As well as giving children, from schools in the area, the opportunity to try out new computer gadgets, the day had a more serious message. Various speakers talked about a number of issues related to the safe use of the internet and problems that may be experienced. Children consolidated their learning by designing a poster to get the message across to others.
The children from Wood Lane are now working on a presentation for their peers where they will share their learning from the day.
